I tried this out because I have been asked for thick, antialiased country boundaries. Unfortunately, the performance seems very poor. With ANTIALIAS FALSE, I get my map back in <1 sec. With TRUE, it takes 30-40sec to generate my test-case map. -Jeff DLB
