Andrea, I would suggest you "inspect" the netcdf file with "gdalinfo". If GDAL is correctly identifying the image section, then this will tell you something about the georeferencing, data type, etc. Since the data is floating point you will likely want to apply some sort of scaling for display purposes. This could be accomplished with a set of CLASSes or you could use a scaling directive on the LAYER. eg. PROCESSING "SCALE=AUTO" There are issues with the GDAL netCDF reading with some datasets.
