sorry for the cross post and delay. Here is a map interface
demo where
you can add your own information Wiki-style. This is a
mock-up only. It
makes exclusive use of Open Source components and freely
available map
services. We'd be glad to share this know-how and eventually move the
whole thing to the PostgreSQL homepage servers. All data an locations
that you add will not be lost so just go ahead.
Neat. I did get an object not found error from IE6 when the page loaded,
but everything seemed to work otherwise - except when flagging my
location the map turned into a grey blob for some reason.

Hi,
were you using IE? The overlay map comes in a png version that IE wont
display with tranparency. We should probably take it out. It is just for
the looks anyway, cool shade of cloud covers.
