Hi Richard I should be pretty straight forward ... depending on you apps. We wrote as well an mbx to write MapFiles from MapInfo WS, however it is a bit outdated ... anyway, download under http://umn.mapserver.ch with source. There are as well MapInfo MapFile samples.
