Paco, I have not encountered this myself, so I would appreciate it if you could file an appropriate bug on the issue. If you can, try and isolate the problem to just GDAL and file the bug against GDAL.. For instance, if you convert your grass cell to png with gdal_translate does it work? Perhaps this demonstrates the same underlying problem. In any event, I will need a modest sized demonstration dataset and all details to reproduce the problem.
