stock apache with OS X. It says in the PHP readme and on the
download page.
are you building SWIG MapScript (or does that happen automatically
now?).
I believe SWIG is just the underlying API for the various mapscripts
EXCEPT PHP mapscript. I don't build any of the other mapscripts, but
I've been considering adding Python mapscript.
