My apologies. I misunderstood you. I thought you were running the tutorial locally and were getting the messages on your machine... It turns out it's my server! I updated the server last week and the MapServer (actually GDAL) dependencies got screwed up. You should be able to use it again later today. (tomorrow for you ;)
