Hi, We're using an SLD to custom symbolize some point data with an ExternalGraphic ref, and resulting behaviour is as expected, until we try to symbolize with ExternalGraphic.
Snippet below: <ExternalGraphic> <OnlineResource xlink:type="simple" xlink:href="http://eman-rese.ca/logos/gif/EMAN_colour_black_text.gif"/> <Format>GIF</Format> </ExternalGraphic> ...however, when I change the Format element to "image/gif", the OGC:WMS server (powered by MapServer) does not symbolize based on the ExternalGraphic def. When looking at latest CVS, mapogcsld.c, line 2146, it looks like they take OGC:WMS 1.0.0 and 1.1.+ style of format defs (i.e. "GIF", "PNG", "image/gif", "image/png"), but this is not evident in the GetMap output.
