[UMN_MAPSERVER-USERS] LABEL BUFFER question

I'm annotating some polygons using a POINT layer so I can put the label along with a dot.  I've got a BUFFER value for the LABEL and it's removing those that are too close but it's not removing the corresponding dots.  Is there a way to have them linked so the dot is removed when the label doesn't fit?
