[UMN_MAPSERVER-USERS] help with scalebar

hi all,
I have not understood the scalebar object . I can create it in the map file
but how do i display it in the web page
I donot see it displayed automatically. Do i need to do something to show it
up. What about the reference
map . What needs to be done after we define it as an object in the map file.
