[UMN_MAPSERVER-USERS] Passing query results to the main CGI interface

What's the easiest way to pass the results of a query back to the main 
CGI template (instead of to a separate query template)? I'm trying to 
set up an html field that shows the coordinates of the point last 
clicked on (without re-centering the image), as well as show some 
attribute information associated with that point. I'd like to have this 
display on my main interface page rather than open up a new query window.
