[UMN_MAPSERVER-USERS] getfeatureinfo request and PHP

Hi all,

I am using getFeatureInfo, and I am wondering if there is a way to  
figure out the appropriate bbox and x,y with a php script.  Right now  
I am using the Google maps api to get the bbox and x,y coordinates.   
I would rather have all this done in the background with the php  
script, but I don't know how to translate the lat/lng coordinates  
into the appropriate bbox and x,y coordinates.

Does anyone have any suggestions or links to a good tutorial that I  
could read?
