Hi. I am tying to use mapserver to provide a wms service. For testing purposes, i wrote a simple mapfile with one raster layer. And with mapserver 4.x all was right but with the new 5.x when i write the getcapabilities it answers the getString() error. The query is the following: http://localhost/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/users/simo/sites/mapfile/provamapserv.map&service=wms&version=1.1.1&request=getcapabilities
And in the mapfile at the line 21 there is the LAYER string. Does anyone can help me? Thanks -- Simone Dalmasso
