Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html

If you can't remove the blue "i" from a map window itself,
it means that the map file was created with it and has been saved with it.
This problem is fixed in the final release of Maptitude for the Web 4.2
which will be shipped very soon.

In the meantime, thanks to Kjartan and Phil, we have an add-in available
for removing the "i" from the map file itself. You can download
the add-in from our ftp site:

  ftp://ftp.caliper.com/remove_i/setup.exe

When you run the add-in, it will ask you for the location of the Maptitude
for the Web program mapt.exe. It will then proceed to install the add-in
in the Maptitude for the Web program folder. To use it from
Maptitude for the Web:

1. Choose the map with the spurious "i" symbol.
2. Choose "Tools - GISDK Add-Ins".
3. Choose "Remove Info Symbols from A Map".

Thanks for reporting the problem.

Giovanni
