Maptitude Version 4 does not have the special capabilities outlined in the
Community 2020 User's Guide, though the HUD Map Library has been developed
into the Map Librarian. Maptitude does have the regular capabilities
necessary to do things such as open and join the tables, create maps,
select records, and view data in a dataview or an info window.
In terms of overwriting the HUD data files, since Maptitude does not
include the HUD-specific data files they won't be overwritten. As long as
you do not delete the files from your hard drive or server, they will still
be available. Maptitude does include the standard geographic files, such as
nationwide streets, and some of those geographic files (such as streets)
have been updated using more recent TIGER/Line files.
