Hi,
I have a database of schools in my county
which I exported from Landview.
I have no problem opening up the dbf file and
viewing/modifying it in the dataview; however,
I have been unable to figure out how to get this
data into Mapt. 4.12 as a point layer for the purpose
of plotting the schools as points on a map of the
county. Under "Tools" the "Locate by Coordinate"
option is constantly greyed out. The Manual
(pages 239 - 240) is no help.
I emailed Caliper tech support and received a
bot generated reply which said if I don't hear from
them to try again.
I seem to recall successfully performing this operation
in an earlier version of Maptitude, but I am now
drawing a serious blank. Can anyone help with this?
