I got into using Maptitude through the HUD Community 2020 program. When
they switched from Maptitude to ArcView, I was under the impression that
they were going to be a web-only application. However, I just received
a full copy of ArcView 3.2a in the mail as an "upgrade" of my Community
2020 software. Has anyone else received this?
BTW, my initial reaction to ArcView is not very positive, especially
regarding the unimpressive amount of data they ship compared to
Maptitude. However, I did get a copy of Avenue, which I think is the
ESRI equivalent to GISDK. Methinks its time for a three-way comparison:
MapInfo 5.0 vs ArcView 3.2a vs Maptitude 4.1.
