By location do you mean a long & lat? address? etc?
One way is to use one of the interactive selection tools on
the main menu bar or the location tools under "tools" and then draw the bands
choose the selection you created. You are not required to select the feature by
hand, but on the menu this is as automatic as it gets. Perhaps someone has a
GISDK program that can be molded to you needs.

Is there any kind of function in the menu where i can simply enter a
location and get Maptitude to automatically draw a band around that
area alone instead of all the sites.I don't want to use the toolbar
to select and then draw a band but to simply enter a location and
automatically have bands drawn around it.
A quick response, is greatly appreciated.
