You should note that there are two versions of TransCAD: Base and Full. While the Full version costs around $15k, Base sells for $2995. You might even get credit for your Maptitude purchase if you trade in for TransCAD Base. This is actually a great deal when compared to what it would cost to have all the same features in ArcGIS. In fact, ArcGIS would need the Network Analyst to do what TransCAD does...toal cost would likely be around $20k.
