Bob,
If your widgets are points then this is very easy. I routinely keep
points
in SQL Server and Access and use them as layers in MT with multiple
users
updating them. If you set up a DSN (using Control Panel-Administrative
Tools-Data Sources (ODBC)) pointing to just about any database you
can add
any table with lat/lon in it as a point layer in a map in Maptitude
(Files
of Type-ODBC Table) or use AddODBCLayer() to add it in the DK.
You can do all normal layer operations on such a
layer--update/search/delete, etc.
In the past couple of years Caliper's ODBC handling has become very
stable
and dependable and is well worth using.
Larry Manire
.... then i have say to me : fantastic AddODBCLayer() is the function
for me !! I need to link odbc source to a Layer of TransCAD . I have
tray to find that function in GisDk help but there is'nt .
Actualy the only way to link ODBC sourse is to add layer from menu but
i hope that you can say me whe way to use the "hidden" function
