Hello Michael,

Armando's advice is essentially correct, as proven by your 
experience.  The only detail I would add is that specifying an
"a" value is redundant when specifying the GRS80 ellipsoid; the
ellipsoid specification implies a major axis.  Just specifying
the ellipsoid is enough.  As for it being the "right" one?
That's harder to tell.  From the ECW file you sent us, the
"datum" specified in the header is NAD83, so, for the UTM
system, the GRS80 ellipsoid is probably the correct choice.

The real issue is that specifying an ellipsoid in the Maptitude
"ECW" file shouldn't really be necessary.  We're looking into what's
going on here, but, in the mean time, your solution is basically
correct.
