I have been trying to figure out how to create a layer that has free hand and other manually placed objects on a map. I know how to pull data from files and db in order to create layers, but I would like to have a separate layer for the free hand objects that I put on a map, so far I can not figure out how to do that short of creating a file that has a ID and lat/lon data for each object.
I would just like to be able to draw these objects on a separate layer that I can turn off and on or manipulate.
