thanks for the help. I was trying to do that but the "save settings" button would highlight for any geographic files that were on network drives. I finally copied the files over to my local c drive and then was able to save the settings. Then I simply copied them back over to a network drive.
Thanks again for your help. mark ------ Original Message ------ Received: 03:27 PM PST, 03/15/2005 From: "Kjartan Stefansson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Subject: RE: [Maptitude] saving "style" of layers Mark, Once you have a layer style you like, you can use the menu Tools - Geographic Utilities - Geographic File and in the Geographic File dialog box you can choose "Save Settings". -Kjartan -----Original Message----- From: gsbbound [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2005 2:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Maptitude] saving "style" of layers Does anyone know how to save the style of a layer? I have two sets of customer layers. When I drop one set and add the other I have to manually set up the style of the customer layer. Is there a way to save the style so that when I add the layer the style is already set? thx guys. Mark Yahoo! Groups Links Yahoo! Groups Sponsor ADVERTISEMENT Yahoo!
