The edit-fill feature is the most powerful feature a GIS software can have. E.g. one can find the number of points (e.g. bars) within a block, or block plus 1 mile buffer, etc. Try doing that in any other software. Other software require vector-raster conversion before one can 'edit-fill-aggregate; by-mile etc' queries. Regards, Rudy B.
