Hey guys, I have a bin file that is 3.5 gigs and 21 million records
deep. When I try to convert it to a geo. file maptitude processes
away until it reaches 80% completion and then gives me the following
error message: "Warning Hollywood maptitude has encountered an error
in your work space. If this error persists, please re-start and try
again. Reference info: dberr, 909"

I contacted caliper tech support and they said that it was not the
size of the file but the record count. I was told from caliper that
maptitude can't create geo files with that many records. Caliper
offered to create the geo file for me if I send them the data. Before
I go through the hassle, does anybody have any tricks that might help
me? Cutting the file into parts and then combining the parts??? I
don't know. Thanks,
mark
