I've been using Armando's Drive Time Add In for Maptitude and found it very nice. Being of an overly cautious nature, I drove my test region after running Armando's software, calibrated with local drive time knowledge and had very accurate results. The only down-side is that distances were in miles rather than kilometres...however it's no big deal to change the preferences with Maptitude.
