I generally have had not problems printing to .pdf under Maptitude 4.5 or 4.7 -- using Acrobat 5.x and Acrobat 6.x under Windows 2000.
However, on rare occassions, the print job does hang. Whenever this happens, I open TaskManager. Almost always, there are multiple copies of mapt.exe and/or acrobat.exe running. If I exit Maptitude and kill all the duplicate processes, I can then print to Adobe without any problem.
