I need to be able to count population within a user-defined polygon by census block centroids. This apparently is the preferred way by the FCC. IE: if an polygon-area does not include the centroid, any remaining portion of that block that might be inside the polygon is assumed to have zero population. Conversely, if the centroid is inside the polygon, the entire block is counted, even if a portion of it is outside the polygon. Is this possible to do with Maptitude's census block data, and/or are there other sources of importable population data that use block centroids? Demographic data is unnecessary - just total head counts.....
