Instead of deleting a road segment (since it is shared by other) use the selection set command to select the rest of the road segment IDs. Bu this is valid for one (or few) points that are isolated. A macro that repeats the process one point at a time could do that. Anyone wants to try that? Regards, Rudy B.

For ONE point, it's possible.

 

(1)     Use TAG feature to get the ID of the nearest road.

(2)     Delete the record with the ID, i.e. the nearest road

(3)     Use TAG feature to get the distance to the nearest road (2nd nearest road)

One can use the tag feature to get the distance to the nearest road from a point, but is there a way to get the distance to the 2nd nearest road?
