Years ago Caliper had a GISDK manual which was quite complete. Unfortunately I lost it - my use of GISDK has never been the same since. Wish they would do another one.

I would love to have a good reference on SQL.
 
I would add to that regarding GISDK. If someone can compile their GISDK learning/expereinces into a book format that would be great. I can easily pay $50-100 on a good GISDK book (and recommend it as a required supplement to my students). Regards,
