Thank you, that sounds like it would work. I am plotting groups using a conference center (customers) and there are several types of groups - youth, families, adults. So I'm looking to plot youth in red, adults in blue, families in green. I will give that a try.

I occasionally do dot density mapping of population density in census block groups by race. Simply select one dot color for one variable type and another for a second variable type, etc. It can get fairly confusing if you have too many types plotted, as a bunch of colors can get difficult to discern. But if there are very few variables (two, for example) it's quite easy to discern (say) black dots from red dots. Just select the variables by holding the ctrl key and clicking each type. - Michael LaRue [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Pam Harris Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2006 2:50 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Maptitude] dot density themes Is it possible to plot multiple dot density themes (by zip) on a single map? If I have several groups of customers, and want to use different colored dots to display different types, is that an option?
