Process Explorer is the most useful Windows utility I have ever used.
It will show what processes/programs are loaded in memory, and what percent of
CPU time each is using (among many other things).

This is quite unusual.
Do you have anti-virus software running? In certain situations this can slow
the performance of software applications.

Wanted to see what the users thought about the performance of
TransCAD. I have had very poor experience with it. Ex. I have 2 cdf
point files, one with ~20K records and the other with 150 records. I
am simply tagging the distance of each record in the larger dataset to
the nearest record in the small dataset. It has taken several hours to
complete this simple task. Anyone else experience performance issues
like this? I am using 3ghz processor with 2GB RAM.
