SGIS is a government contracting firm. We specialize in providing
solutions within the areas of Information Technology, Engineering,
Intelligence Solutions, Global Telecommunications and Logistics to
the Defense, Space, Intelligence and Homeland Security communities.
SGIS currently has a need for a Maptitude Programmer located in
Suitland, MD.
Job Description:
-Design menus and dialog boxes (including toolbars and toolboxes)
-Write macros
-Build custom applications to meet user's needs
-May create add-ins that extend the standard interface to provide
new presentations with maps for various users
Required Skills:
-Intermediated to Advanced experience programming with Maptitude
-Proficient in using GISDK (Geographic Information System
Developer's Kit)
Desired Education/Skills:
-Bachelor's Degree in related field a plus
-Experience working with Census data a plus
-Experience working in Geography a plus
Security Clearance:
-Eligible for a Confidential Clearance
