Thanks for the help on the earlier question. Here's a follow up, which
is not necessarily GDSK:
I have a parcel map, and each parcel is tagged with its election
precinct assignment. When I merge them into precincts, the roads (which
are blank space in the parcel map) break up the precincts.
Any idea on how to remove the roads and simply have nice contiguous
precincts?
