I have talked to terragotech.com about using their product to do it from
Maptitude. Right now you would have to use arcGIS/ArcPublisher with their
product to make a layered PDF. They are considering adapting their product
so that Caliper could interface with it but, even if they do that, it looks
like a ways off, assuming that Caliper would add the functionality.

If anyone knows of any way to do it from Maptitude I would be very
interested. Layered PDFs would be very useful for a lot of applications.

Subject: [Maptitude] multi layered PDF maps

Hello - I'm wondering how to accomplish layered PDF vector maps with
maptitude 4.7.

I normally create single layer maps by saving as TIF and then opening
the TIF in Adobe Acrobat. Going to TIF first gives better results
than printing the map directly to Acrobat.

BUT I don't have a clue how folks make maps that have selectable
multiple layers in a PDF.

Any help appreciated.
