Hi Dan:

A rough outline of what you could do is as follows:
Text annotation locations on a map can be "a coordinate and an alignment string
on map"
So if you want the coordinate at the centre of the map:
You could get the centre pixel via:
size = GetAbsoluteWindowSize()
Then convert to a coordinate:
MapPixelXYToCoord()
for use with:
            AddAnnotation()

Subject: [Maptitude] Map Title

Thanks Stewart!

I actually just thought of one more question...

Is there a way to generate a map title that can be displayed
directly on the map, in a constant location with respect to the
physical layout of the map (e.g., 2 inches from the top, etc.)?
While "AddAnnotation" ultimately does the job, I'd prefer a function
that associates text with a position on the layout, as opposed to a
longitude/latitude coordinate. (That way, I'd be able to both fiddle
around with a map's scope without having to worry about readjusting
the title's position, as well as use the same code for maps with a
different scope altogether.) Any ideas?

Variables". This section lists the Valid Selectors. These could also
be used with a ShowArray() call:
