Hello everyone,

I am building a hierarchies.txt file as to facilitate a Plan Components Report
using Mapt for Redist 6.0 Beta.

My .cdf files and fields:

block (containing the fields BLK, LINKID, County)
precincts (containing the fields LINKID, County)
county (containing the field County)

The BLK, LINKID, and County fields are flagged as index in all layers.

The BLK field is the unique block identifier, the LINKID is the unique precinct
identifier, and the County field is the unique county identifier. The block
geography nests with in the precinct geography, and the precinct geography
nests within the county geography.

My hierarchies.txt file looks like this:

blocks
BLK
precincts
LINKID
county
County

When creating a new plan from a map containing the layers listed above, the
hierarchy does not appear in under the advanced tab as explained in the manual
or the online instructional vid.
It presents the lowest level of the hierarchy (block) with no additional
hierarchy identified.

I've checked all fields and files for simple things (case sensitive errors,
spelling errors, that there is a cr after each line of the .txt file, tried
"un-indexing" the fields, etc) and it appears up to snuff.

Any direction or input would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your time and attention,
Ben Collins
