Dear Maptitude Users Group, Thanks to everyone who has helped me thus far with our project.
We have managed to calculate the area of bands in the city that are covered by overlapping 500-foot bands around child care facilities, schools and playgrounds. Now we would like to calculate the area by community area that is covered by the percentage of the bands in each neighborhood. I've tried this by overlaying a community area map onto the city map. But somehow the total area I get through this process is more than twice the citywide area, so I am quite confident the calculation is not accurate. I welcome any suggestions you have?
