I've done a similar exercise but kept all the polygon features in one file and
then use the selection toolbox to highlight the features that I didn't want to
"show" and set them to invisible in the selction toolbox. This avoids the need
for deleting..is that what you had in mind?

  Subject: [Maptitude] Prism Map question.

  Dear Users Group,

Thanks to the folks who offered help with the prism mapping question I
raised last week.

    Here's another one.

I'd like to parse out the wards on the map of Chicago with which I'm
working so that we'll have a prism image for each of the city's 50 wards. I've
got a map layer and have figured out how to create this by deleting the other
49 wards and essentially creating a ward map with a single ward.

I imagine there is a better way to do this that will also allow me to
interact with the image once I produce it. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    Jeff
