I am a newbie to Maptitude and have two questions that might be very basic to
some of you. We use it to create US maps with data that is aggregated by
state, i.e. we have up to 51 data points, sometimes much fewer (if we don't
have data for all states). Most of what we do is commercial so it's not just
about what it tells the reader but it's also supposed to look catchy.
1. I currently have a color theme and I want a white border between adjacent
states but not on the coast or the borders to Mexico/the US. Is there a way to
get that? What I see right now is only an option to have the borders all
around each state or not at all.
2. Is there a way to add a shadow to the US? Right now the map looks like early
2000s, but I want it to look a bit more like 2011.
Thanks
Matthias
