Hi:
You can convert Shapefiles to the Maptitude standard geographic
file/layer format (*.dbd) in 2 ways. Rather than importing the
Shapefile, open it without importing. Then choose Tools-Export and
export to the Standard geographic file format.
This should work.

during the import of shp file to dbd, Maptitude is throwing an error

export this dbd as topological dbd and then export the dbd as cdf. The
import to non topological dbd is happening correctly. But when I try to
export this dbd as topological dbd, the same error is popping up.
