Deborah:
What geographic file type is the Alaska layer in? My suspicion is that if it
is a .shp file, the shp file topology may be bad. In this event, you might try
exporting into Caliper compressed format and then re-opening it to make your
layer...the conversion to Caliper compressed will correct topology problems and
produce a cleaner file for building your mask....just my guess of a possible
solution.

Subject: [Maptitude] RAM Requirement?

Does anyone else have memory problems with Maptitude? I have 32 GB of RAM yet I
continue getting an insufficient memory error when trying to create a layer
mask of Alaska. (I'm trying a layer mask because the Freehand one cuts off part
of the map!)

Any advice?

Thanks,
-D
