Maptitude allows you to define a layout of just about any (reasonable) size. From your question, I'm assuming you don't have a plotter on site. If that is the case, you have two basic choices:
1. You can print to a PDF and send it out for printing (at Fedex-Kinko's, the UPS Store, or equivalent). 2. You can print to a series of smaller sheets of paper, and tape/glue/rubber cement them together. If you're going with Option #1, I've personally had good luck printing to PDFCreator (free and open source) and walking a flashdrive with the file over to our graphics design group here at the U. I generally find lamination to be worth the extra expense: not only does the map stand up better over time, the colors on the map "pop" much better as well. If you're going with Option #2, check out pp. 265-6 of the Mapt 2012 manual (or look in the index for "paper cut lines" for other versions) and this earlier posting: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Maptitude/message/4692 --- In [email protected], "iehatjohn" wrote: > > Hi - > > I created a map of my company's US districts that I can save as a .png and > print landscape on 8.5" x 11" paper.
