As a follow up to this exercise, I am unable to locate the dealer locations using the "locate by address' option. However, I can locate them using 'locate by postal code'. I did try locating these same dealers by doing a separate map, and I was successful in locating them by address. Would anyone know why I cannot locate this same set of data on an address level by layering on top of an existing map when I can locate them successfully using a separate map?

You will need to change the file type to find your file in your computer (default opens with .map extension) and it will pop up in Maptitude as a dataview. Then go to Tools-Locate where you choose how you want to bring in your data. best of luck.
