I have a huge amount of data in an excel sheet. (Locational Data are in both
Lat/Long and FIPS Code, around columns 20-23)
I open the data from Maptitude as Excel (as per a previous note in this
discussion).
Now, I don't select and "x/y" coordinate (I didn't recall that I needed to do
that).
But what results is a default, WORLD VIEW, with a series of datapoints noted in
the Eastern Hemisphere, starting in North Africa and passing through
Uzbekistan. (All my data are in actually in the US).
Any suggestions for simplification? Seems like if I don't use this every day,
I often end up starting at ground zero.
