Looking at the video (they look all still really nice inspite of the bugs!) I 
guess you mean "Prime Meridian" instead of "Dateline". The "Dateline" is mostly 
the "Antimeridian" on the other side. :)
Other than that the weird behaviors I spotted in the video didn't ring a bell.
I have ideas how to tackle the shape change during moving but that opens up a 
whole new chapter. Maybe we can look into this at Randa :)
