Looks good. The remaining things can be done in subsequent commits / reviews.  
One minor thing below, but there's no need for a new review request, direct 
push is fine.

Regarding using code from 
http://home.hiwaay.net/~taylorc/toolbox/geography/geoutm.html : IANAL, but the 
~ public domain note on the site "Programmers: The JavaScript source code in 
this document may be copied and reused without restriction." looks fine to me 
and you're giving credit in the source even. Seems like the way to go to me.
