We don't have that many plans in this area.
Monty has recently implemented memory usage statistics per thread in 10.0.
You can say, that its "more user_stats/..." style - a MEMORY_USED column
in the INFORMATION_SCHEMA.PROCESSLIST table.
Compare that with MySQL worklog for memory usage monitoring :)
