Hi Martijn, I agree that metadata is important, but I respectfully disagree that it should have blocked the release of 10.2. My company is using check constraints in production and (after 6 years of using MySQL) we are glad to finally have check constraints available to us. In fact, check constraints are the main reason we switched from MySQL to maria.
