Hello, A new question has been asked in "MariaDB Community" by markroland_g. Please answer it at http://mariadb.com/kb/en/verifying-mariadb-101-encryption/ as the person asking the question may not be subscribed to the mailing list.
-------------------------------- I have set up table-level InnoDB database encryption on Maria DB 10.1.8 (https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/data-at-rest-encryption/). I'd like to know if there is any way to confirm that the data is truly encrypted. I've tried searching /var/lib/mysql/ibdata1 for sample data in the tables, but I don't know if that's a reliable test or not. * This is a re-post of a question I asked on Stack Overflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/33817877/verifying-mariadb-10-1-encryption) -------------------------------- To view or answer this question please visit: http://mariadb.com/kb/en/verifying-mariadb-101-encryption/ _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~maria-discuss Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~maria-discuss More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
